well, miss priss has grown a bit since our last visit, see...
she's sitting like a pro & even standing some too. same gorgeous eyes as before, but more hair!
and beaming with personality! but m...you'll have to wait on the gallery to see that ;o) thanks for being patient with me during this holiday busyness i'll be emailing you your gallery password first of the week!
happy thanksgiving to everyone. i can't close without mentioning how very thankful i am to each & every one of my fabulous clients! i am so grateful for having had the chance to meet and work with your beautiful* children! thankful & grateful indeed :o)

i'm refraining from using any of the christmassy or family shots...i'm busy, busy designing & ordering custom cards :o) oh! at the gorgeous families i've had the joy of capturing!!

oh how i've waited to get my hands on this little guy! he was worth the wait; my how adorable he is! see for yourself...
told ya so. ;o) we missed the window of opportunity for newborn portraits & i don't make promises to get sleepy captures, but we got lucky. i tuckered him right out & he let me hang out a bit longer while he snoozed.
look at that smiley little face...swoon...wonder what sweet dreams he's having? speaking of swoon...check this out!

it was so fabulous to meet d & his mom & dad. he's the latest little member of my 'grow with me' program...oh how i love watching all these babies grow! i could eat them up, i love them so!

honestly, if all little people made me work as hard as mine do i don't know how long i'd last in this profession, lol!
that said, when i step back, as i often do with my clients, and just let them be...i get this.
of the little shoot we did yesterday, this is easily my favorite.
oh how she adores him. and oh how he loves that she's his biggest fan. and i think this captures that...perfectly.

well look! they've grown.
i adore getting my hands (and lens) on sweet little babies and watching them grow and meet milestones and develop little personalities.
that first year just dissipates into thin air (i'm experience it first hand again with my pailyn)...having portraits along the way eases the bitter-sweetness of our little ones becoming not so little any more.
i'm so grateful to the families who've entrusted me to capture and get to know & fall in love with their sweet babies. photographing your little ones is so much more than simply taking pictures to me...i love the opportunity to develop lifelong relationships & have been so blessed to have the most beautiful clients-both inside & out!

a quick share [mississippi baby photographer]
today was spent making some portrait deliveries to a couple of fabulous brookhaven clients!
the part of lindeymagee photography i love most is the fact that i meet wonderful women & get to love on & photograph their sweet babies & children. i get to watch them grow from new little miracles to sitters and beyond! i feel so blessed to be doing what i do!
i mentioned there would be an upcoming post about gallery wrapped canvas-i'd like to take & post some images to go along with that so am waiting to do so. since making mention of that...across the past two weeks the magee living room has housed 8 gallery wrapped canvases in assorted sizes of 20x30's 24x30's and an exciting 30x40 :o)
one of those belongs to my mom...she asked me to have a canvas made of a picture i've posted here, but she wanted color:
this is one of those candid shots that warrant more than file space on the computer :o) i couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. i can see myself standing there taking the picture so. very. clearly. in pailyn's eyes! actually i can see the edge of the pool, the fence, a tree, & the pavilion reversed in her eyes...they are so reflective! i love that :o)
heather and bennett have gorgeous blue eyes & i might have hoped that the little sister's would have matched, but hers are gorgeous in their own right!
a little non related photography fact...the roo's very own blog(also linked above in the nav bar) has been & will continue to be updated daily through the end of the month (and hopefully beyond)! ...lots of catch up to do there :o)
