...as in, she really sleeps!
up until about 2-3 weeks ago, my sweet baby girl hadn't gone for more than 4ish hours tops without me holding her. day & night. it's been a long road getting here...lots of nights in the recliner with a snoozing roo on my chest (daddy had to get some rest...someone had to take care of the big kids!)
she got to where-at 3 months or so-she'd start off on her tummy in her bassinet & go a few hours before she'd wake up...either to eat or just because she realized she wasn't being held.
suddenly...she went through the night! as in 11-12am till 5ish or so...whoop pee!
then, about 2 weeks ago i was having to wake her up when i'd have getting-kidlets-to-school duty. then, when i didn't, i'd find myself waking her up to go on my morning walk with leslie. then the weekend came & i let her sleep. she's gone till after 10 every time...sunday i had to wake her up to get dressed for church & out the door we ran!
monday she went down at 11:45 and i finally couldn't take it anymore & woke her up at 12:25! i needed some lovin' from that little roo! :o)
so that's her story. she's her momma's for sure! if i had it my way, i could sleep till 12:25 too, but i sure can get lots done between 6 or 7 am and when she decides to open her peepers :o)
i'll continue to try to get her down earlier (although she's having none of that!) ...the roo is not a napper...i have to con her into a nap & then it might last 15 minutes if i'm lucky...occasionally, she'll snooze for a good hour, but that's rare. i'm just thankful for night after night of uninterrupted sleep & she wakes up slowly, but oh! so! happy!
