you heard me right...that roo got an applause from her crazy momma today when she rolled over all by herself :o) it was quite the achievement at 4 months + 8 days! i have a sequence of pictures, but designing landsource ads has kept me super busy (which is a good thing!) and i haven't even pulled it out of my camera.
at least the roll over is blog-umented...i'll have to edit to add some funny pictures of the event :o)
also, while i'm "blog-umenting" ...pailyn has been sleeping through the night for a good solid week or so. now, before you get too impressed, the stinker will not give it up until 11:30-12:30 at night...she fights it hard all day long! i'll sure take it though...she slept until after 10am friday. i had to wake her up to go to nana's for burgers on the grill!! then sunday, she snoozed in her bassinet while i got all ready for church & i had to wake her sleepy self up at 9:35 for a quick diaper change & get dressed session before we rushed out the door for sunday school! this morning, she slept until after 9...i can get some stuff done before 9am if the roo is in lala land :o)
now, speaking of church...she does so well in church! she's content in her sling on sunday mornings & i let everyone who speaks to her think that she loves them best because she smiles big at them, but truth be told, all you have to do is say hi & smile at my baby girl & she's going to beam right back at you with a big gummy wide open mouth smile! she likes people & attention. if she gets restless in church, i can just put her on my shoulder & she makes quick friends with the people behind us, whoever (whomever?) they may be and spends the rest of the service exchanging grins :o) brother mike might not appreciate her distracting from his sermon ;o)
tomorrow is the roo's 4 month check up...i'm always curious to see what she'll weigh...anyone want to take some guesses for fun? if i would have been thinking, i would have made a contest out of it with some sort of prize, darnit! next time, maybe...that would require forthought and follow through...two things i'm not stellar at this particular time ;o)
time is going too fast. i knew that it would. i know that it will, and it just plain stinks! i can't believe she's 4 months + one week + one day = almost half way to a year. pout.
i love her. i love you, my love! xoxo
